Evolution has always favoured the bold. Sometimes, a decision seems crazy to many at the time, but its wisdom ends up echoing through the age. Think of the first owl to try and turn its head all the way round, for example. That took some balls – I’ll bet his mates were begging him not to do it in case he broke his neck. But who’s laughing now? Generations of owls with freaky turny-round heads that give me the willies :-(
