Love Media Sales was launched in 2010 as a community for media sales professionals. Until now, the industry hasn't had a place for people working in media sales to meet, network and find tools to help them improve in their careers. The platform will be as useful and relevant to new executives as it is to advertising directors. Love Media Sales hopes to inspire discussion within the industry, and have a little fun along the way.
Media sales isn't always a deliberate career path, but the idea that people only 'fall into' the job is a myth that Love Media Sales wants to dispel. This is your industry, and your career, and Love Media Sales will be an invaluable source of topical industry news and comment. Plus when it's time to move on visit the jobs board to help you find your next role.
Our networking events allow you to meet your fellow members in a relaxed setting, to discuss your success stories as well as the challenges that you face in your day to day role. Whilst the training programme developed in conjunction with leading industry professionals will enable you to participate in practical sessions ensuring you learn from the professionals whilst also allowing you to exchange experiences with your peers.
There may be differences between digital, print, outdoor and broadcast sales, but there are huge similarities as well. The feeling of the first sale with a new client, hitting target at the end of the month, a new venture getting the sponsorship it deserves after weeks of hard work. Those are things that everyone in media sales can relate to.
There are so many talented people working across all sectors of advertising sales and that's something that we intend to celebrate!
